Are you puzzled or perplexed by signs you see? I know it happens to me fairly frequently. Here are a few recent examples:
Summer Ice. When the high temperature for the day is in the 90s, there’s something ironic about this warning.
People from Parker. According to this sign, there are at least 65 people from the city of Parker working downtown (that’s only those that use the garage in our building). Why are there so many of them and why do they get special treatment? Talk about a privileged bedroom community.
Donut Lovers. Speaking of parking, this sign isn’t so much perplexing as it is a reminder that even though most folks are out due to the imminent arrival of the 4th of July holiday, we still have half a dozen donuts at the office today. So come get yours!
